Phone carriers and manufacturers share IMEI numbers to enable tracking of smartphones that may be stolen or compromise
You can find your device’s IMEI number on:
- its original packaging,
- From a tax invoice or
- proof of purchase
- By dialling *#06# from the device.
Contract customers can reprint an invoice in-store, but only if the device was bought directly from MTN.
